has a passion and that passion is acting. She loves to entertain and can easily make you laugh and her favorite thing is to share a smile. Rav’n is a Denver Native who has roots all over the Denver Metro area with friends and family a Mile High. Rav’n feels that everyone has something beautiful and special to share with the world and her true talent is her enthusiasm and Joie de Vivre.
Having performed improv at VooDoo Comedy School, just for some adult fun, she got up the courage to get on stage and get some laughs doing stand-up comedy which gave her the courage to audition for her first play, Black Berry Love and it’s been a journey of true love ever since. She just finished 1 Night, 6 Plays and some of her credits include: Suicide, Lies, Hamlet, The Itsy Bitsy Stories, and Leveau. Rav’n Moon looks forward to performing for you!
My experience is Life! In my late teens I found the rave scene and I could lose myself in dance. And in that warehouse I found out I could be whoever I wanted to be for that evening. Because I never felt accepted as a child, I made it my mission to make sure that people that crossed my path knew that they were accepted, that they were enough for me. Finding acting was a breath of fresh air and relief! This little lost raver girl, who is now a beautiful woman, was ready to take to the stage and screen and be whatever she can imagine she can be. Just like my nights in the warehouse.
My drama journey began with Improv at Voodoo Comedy Store and after a few years of workshops, I started doing stand-up comedy around Denver. After a few open-mics I auditioned for my first play, BlackBerry Love and it was love at first act. Since then I have been fortunate to perform in many different venues around Denver, including Shakespeare, dance shows and independent films. I have fallen in love with the whole process, from auditioning to rehearsals from table work, to meeting a cast of strangers and over the next few weeks becoming family. I appreciate everything about the stage, screen and entertaining all around (I even like Sunday matinees)! I can’t wait to perform for you next!
